Ignoring your psychic abilities
Empaths, highly sensitive people, and sensitive feminine souls, are often unaware of their untapped potential regarding their psychic abilities. Also, even calling themselves psychic may be a step way too far. A common belief is that being psychic means that you are born with fully developed gifts and that further training or guidance is unnecessary. Another belief in society is that there is no such thing as being psychic and that it's all in your head. These beliefs can often hinder people from taking their gifts seriously and developing them. Unfortunately, sensitive people often need to ignore their gifts to be seen as 'normal' and fit in society.
My first step in psychic development
When I first set foot in a psychic school, I remember being vaguely aware of my gifts and not knowing what to expect. Years later, I work as a professional psychic with happy clients and am also a psychic development teacher at The Psychic School. Who knew, right? I learned from my journey that you never really know what you are capable of unless you give it a serious try.
Giving it a serious try means stepping away from trying to do it yourself, reading theoretical books, listening to sketchy meditations, watching influencers with flashy bite-sized content on YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram, or relying on random tips in Facebook groups. Consuming information like this can be a nice first step to getting your toes wet, but it will never lead to any real results. I see people doing this for years.
